Cobweb Spider? - Steatoda - female

Cobweb Spider? - Steatoda - Female
Rio Grande City, Starr County, Texas, USA
January 8, 2007
I found this little Theridiidae crawling around the house and am not quite sure what species it is, does anyone have any idea?

Thank you in advance!

reminds us of some of the images
we have in the guide under Steatoda triangulosa, for example but Jeff may know for sure.

I would concur.
Definitely in the genus Steatoda at any rate. This is a superb image, thank you for sharing!
