No - Sphaerophoria has a very
No - Sphaerophoria has a very bright yellow scutellum and yellow bands on the sides of the thorax. With the strong margin on the abdomen that is black on tergites 3 and 4, this looks like Eupeodes to me. Good work taking it through the key, though!
