where I initially had it. :) Now that I read the info I see they're not parasitic. I still have these, if you'd like me to try to get any particular details.

I didn't notice they were originally in Mesostigmata :) That's funny. Yes, these are definitely mesostigs... but I unfortunately don't know the group well enough to identify them much further with any confidence. See if you can get a crisp shot of the underside. If you can, then they will likely be easy to identify further.

You've encouraged me to go ahead and post the beetle, too, and poking around, I see it does appear to be a Trox sp. Good eye for the small details. :)

probably phoretic; looks like they are on a Trox or Omorgus sp.
