Aztecarpalus schaefferi - male

Aztecarpalus schaefferi - Male
Victoria, Victoria County, Texas, USA
May 17, 2014
Size: 11.5 mm
This kind are found under rocks, wood ... Sometimes when you rise the rock or the wood they stay motionless, probably not be observed. But usually they run fast to hide in soil, decomposed leaves or if available between grass. They can quickly hide in the soil especially if the soil is porous.

Aztecarpalus schaefferi
based on my microscopic examination of this male specimen which is deposited in the P.W.Messer collection as a photo-voucher. Thanks Iustin for providing this genus new to my holdings.
