Gelechiid? - Chionodes pereyra

Gelechiid? - Chionodes pereyra
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
May 21, 2014
Size: ~7mm
At outdoor light. Perhaps a Chionodes or in that neighborhood, but I'm guessing.

Moved from Twirler Moths.

I had forgotten about this one. From what I know now I will call it (a dark version, or underexposed photo, of) 2104 Chionodes pereyra. This type gelechiid was so common at my light early this year, and many resembled Mark Dreiling's BOLD certified #2104, that I had one of mine barcoded to make sure it is the same species. It is posted here.

Moved from Moths.

Moved from ID Request.

Hmmm ...
I've been seeing these but haven't figured it out, yet :)

Not my first one
Yes, they show up once in a while - the two I kept images of are from April and May, joining this May one.
