A few miles west of Medicine Lodge, Barber County, Kansas, USA

Size: 1/2 inch
Perching on bare red earth. Appeared to be some bare salty areas within a few feet but I didn't taste them to prove it. Also gypsum in the area.

No ochreifrons in KS
Likely varipes with those reddish hind femora.
