Aspen buprestid

Aspen buprestid
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
January 7, 2007
Size: about 22 mm
Found under moist, rotting bark of large fallen aspen branch that also was home to several larval f*lies and an apparent Agr*ilus buprestid species that bore urogomph*i (tail spines), which this one lacks.

Moved

ID
This is clearly a buprestid larvae, in fact I will place it to genus and probable species. So why was it moved from MWBs?

I think it was just moved to a new sub-category,
the larvae of Buprestidae.
