Collected and photographed Jan. 1, 2007 by sifting hand-shredded moss and fungus samples gathered Dec. 9, 2006 from wooded area.

Since I dump my intire aspirator contents into the same deli container for a photo session there are often mixed species in the same photograph, sometimes even climbing on each another. I'm sure the purists can't stand it but I rather like the effect.
