Tenebrionidae - Eleodes extricata

Tenebrionidae - Eleodes extricata
Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, USA
April 26, 2014
Size: 14 mm

Moved
Moved from subgenus Promus.

This is actually a male E.extricata
the only two sp. in the subgenus Promus in NE are E. fusiformis and E. opaca, and both can be ruled out here, by the femoral spine on the front leg. So, based on the shape, apparent size, and puctation. this must be E. extricata.
