Scirtid - Unnamed-near-cyphon obscurus - Male
Ashburnham, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
May 26, 2014

"Cyphon" obscurus (Guerin-Meneville), male
ID confirmed* from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

*With the caveat that I don't know what the genitalia of obscurus looks like, but externally it keys to obscurus.

(I think this Cyphon mess is more confusing than ever.)

Moved tentatively
Moved from Marsh Beetles.
