Perhaps Myrmica americana or AF-eva? Unfortunately the only image. Open area surrounded by wetlands and swampy forest.

Look like AF-eva, and from a
Look like AF-eva, and from a treeless space agrees with this. True M*americana has a big ladle-like basal scape adornement, and seems to be associated with sandy places.
