Numbers

38 North American species, of which 24 are known from the west.

Remarks

Half of the species have been reared from cecidomyiid galls. Seven have been reared from cynipid galls on Rosa and Rubus, four from psyllid galls on hackberry (Celtis), two from tephritid galls, and one from both cecidomyiid and cynipid galls. One species has been reared from Ilex seeds and its actual host is unknown.
