male Mesostigmata, Parasitidae
Hi Peter:

This is a male mite from the Mesostigmata (Parasitiformes), and based on the complete dorsal shield and modified legs II, it belongs to the family Parasitidae. Most of the parasitid photos in Bugguide are of deutonymphs or females, so this is a nice addition.
