Size: est. 12mm
At wild strawberry flowers along edge of road through bog. Seems to match Brachypalpus oarus or something close to that?

Brachypalpus oarus indeed! T
Brachypalpus oarus indeed! The other option would be Chalcosyrphus inarmatus, but that species has much more yellow/orange on the legs. Nice shots!
