Too close for comfort. On a brace right beside the porch swing. Hubby dispatched it. What was going on, please ?

do not kill wasps
Dolichovespula maculata is not that aggressive, and if it really was to close it's only a queen so you could just knock down the nest with a stick so she would move.Vespid Wasps are very important and should not ever be killed
