Longhorn Beetle, I think, probably genus Crossidius
That's a Longhorn Beetle, I believe. You can see the eyes wrapping around where the antennae are inserted--that is distinctive (usually?) for the family.

Very pretty. This looks like genus Crossidius, compare Yanega (1) p. 78, plate 13. Larvae feed on roots of Asteraceae. Nearctica.com lists 12 species, most are apparently western.

Crossidius can be very abundant on rabbitbrush. Lovely insect, nice image!
