Emerald - Chlorochlamys appellaria

Emerald - Chlorochlamys appellaria
Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park, Orange County, California, USA
April 26, 2014

Moved from Chlorochlamys. Chlorochlamys triangularis ruled as it would have white transverse lines instead of yellow. Chlorochlamys phyllinaria ruled out as it has no mid-dorsal stripe.

Moved from Blackberry Looper.

Chlorochlamys chloroleucaria (Blackberry Looper - 7071)
Moved from Moths.

Thanks Fyn!
The Genus looks correct but its not a Blackberry Looper. Chlorochlamys chloroleucaria has never been recorded west of the Rockies.
