Size: app. 1" long
This caterpillar was found on a Silver Maple (Acer saccharinum) hanging from a silk thread. By the time I had gotten the camera, it was on the leaf. Attached is an unknown item (parasite perhaps?). Primarily interested in the caterpillar, but if the other object can be identified, that is better still.
