Size: 5.4 mm
At mercury vapor lamp, suburban backyard. I think it's a plant bug, but haven't been able to find a match. TIA.

Actually ...
I got the following comment from jeanfrancoisroch on iNaturalist (
http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/723577
): "The bug is not Tropidosteptes because there are no punctuation between the callosities and the collar." What do you think? I've moved it to a higher taxon for now.

I do not agree...
If there is no punctation between the callus and the collar, it could be another genus. However, it is
not
clear whether your guy has such punction or not in your photo.
Without considering the punctation, your guy has a body shape of
Tropidosteptes
.
