Snout Beetle - Ceutorhynchus

Snout Beetle - Ceutorhynchus
In Westwood - elevation 5100ft, Lassen County, California, USA
June 2, 2014
Size: Body length 2.5mm
Perhaps a genus Ceutorhynchus weevil - see here: (1)

I found this little weevil on the green seed pods of a weed plant in the Mustard family Cruciferae - Barbarea vulgaris - and called by a variety of common names: Wintercress, Bittercress, Garlic Mustard, Herb Barbara, Rocketcress, Winter Rocket, and Wound Rocket, Yellow Rocketcress.

An internet search led to weevils of the genus Ceutorhynchus as being used as a biological control agents against weeds in the Mustard family.

My thanks for confirmation, and species ID if possible.
