Orientus ishidae (Matsumura) - Orientus ishidae

Orientus ishidae (Matsumura) - Orientus ishidae
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
June 5, 2014
The blue legs had me stumped. Andy Hamilton, commented "That’s just Orientus ishidae with brochosomes clinging to the legs after the insect was brushing itself using the setal combs on the hind legs." I'm used to seeing brochosomes as white patches on the costal margins of the wings, but this is the first time I've noticed like this.
