Same individual, perched here on leaf of a native blackberry, Rubus ursinus.

Note the white facial grooves here (under the antennae...see "fg" here). The facial grooves are also white in P. texana. But they are dark in the third west coast species, P. marginata, which is much less common than P. burgessi or P. texana.
