I think you are right about the yellow-legged centipede, but I think your suggestion got attached to this Green critter instead. The head area structure is different on this one.
S. polymorpha appears to have an appendage on either side of the head & held tightly thereto. I wonder if it is a clasping device to hold its prey!? I copied & added your comment
to the other "Yellowlegged" specimen. Did I goof , yet again!

Question......are these both the same species? Wish I had a better image of the green one!

It sure looks right to me. "Data" shows it for CA & it's logical that we might have them here also. Colors & structure looks the same.
