Gnot a gnat

Gnot a gnat
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
June 6, 2014
Size: Body lenght 3 mm
This little guy and all his friends were annoying us as we sat at the front porch last evening. Often we see some gnats that that take turns annoying us, but I don't think he is a gnat based on his antennae (photo of this guy on my levi's). Other than annoying can someone tell me what he is? Thank you
