Notiodes ovalis (LeConte)
ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

Tough group, as keys are at least somewhat subjective. Burke (1961) revised part of the genus, leaving the remainder (ovalis-punctatus-laticollis) for future treatment, remarking "probably no less than five good species being included under the three names now recognized."

Moved tentatively
Moved from Notiodes.

i'll leave sp. ID to Brad... not just to keep him busy!
these cuties are rather tough to tell apart

Moved from Snout and Bark Beetles.
