Crocus Geometer? - Xanthotype

Crocus Geometer? - Xanthotype
Ailsa Craig, Ontario, Canada
July 9, 2004
The recent post by Patrick of a Xanthotype urticaria reminded me of the trouble I have in distinguishing the False Crocus (X. urticaria) from the "real" Crocus Geometer (X. sospeta). I assume that moth field guides would explain the difference(s) but I don't currently have one. Any help appreciated.
