Erythroneura - Eratoneura

Erythroneura - Eratoneura
Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada
September 27, 2006
The eyes are very dark compared to other pictures in the Guide.

Moved from Erythroneura.

These (numerous) species with very small red spots belong to the subgenus Eratoneura, which has recently been elevated to generic status. There is no telling which species is which from a photo like this. The color of the eyes is not distinctive.
