Anthomyzidae, female
ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

Due to changes in the family, I don't know what genus this will be, so I'll leave at family level. Should be same as 936334.

Anthomyza poss. shewelli
This is a member of the Anthomyza tschirnhausi group of which there are two Nearctic species - A.gilviventris and A.shewelli. I am leaning toward A.shewelli based only on the relatively shiny notum but full examination would be required especially of the terminalia.

Thanks Kevin
I've re-examined the specimen and it seems to match A. shewelli better, as you suggest. The pollinosity of the mesonotum isn't especially dense and I can make out the ridge on T7+S7.
