I "think" it is a "Limenitis archippus" ??? - Limenitis

Size: Approx. 1 1/3 inches
I may have already identified this but if its what I think... Its not apparently too common around here. I "think" it is a "Limenitis archippus". Anyone else have any input or more info.?
Found at 6:40pm, on weeping willow tree in our yard, just before a storm- dreary & overcast, raining off & on.

You are probably correct
It looks to me like L. archippus, and that one favors Willow as larval food plants. However, immature L. arthemis are very similar, and sometimes use Willow as well (though more often Aspen in the north and things in the Rose family such as Cherry and Apple southward). You can be absolutely certain if you let it pupate and wait to see the adult.

A few years ago, I was confident I could tell them apart, but then a few that I was pretty sure about matured and proved me wrong. I'm usually right, but not always.
