Hmmm
Phidippus sometimes gives me fits, but this reminds me more of a P. clarus.


 
Looking at that image I think you may be right.
There are also a couple images in P.whitmani that are very similar to mine. Not sure if there's any way to say for sure which it is but I think it's safe to move it to genus for now. Thanks
