Eudonia heterosalis
This appears to be E heterosalis b/c orbicular is directly anterior to shorter claviform.


brother or sister. (I have no skill in determining sex in the Pyralids 8-) ... yet.

I just wanted to make sure you thought they were the same species. The markings are a bit different so I wasn't sure.

pm line
what I see is that the pm line has a sharper angle toward the costal margin than what I see in the Eudonia ... I'm not an expert, but that is why I identified this as Scoparia

the "spots" can be quite variable (in my opinion), and the critter I photographed is just a bit more worn.
