Meromyza americana Fitch, male
Moved from Meromyza. Very tentatively ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

ID based on combination of external morphology & male genitalia (genitalia look just like the one I have from John R., although the head on yours is shaped different, possibly smushed)
