This is a very characteristic
This is a very characteristic genus, and there are 3 species in the US, unfortunately they can not be ID to species from most pictures....

 
Eumerus is fine
I appreciate how far you took this one. The photo in Wikipedia really shows the golden fringe around the scutellum. Great stuff! Thank you again.
