unknown caterpillar on nettles - Abrostola urentis
Grant Park, Sac County, Iowa, USA
Have always found this caterpillar on nettles (Urtica sp.), but have been unable to identify it.

The photo I sent in certainly bears a close resemblance to the one you included. It does look like Abrostola is likely. Thanks
