synanthedon viburni or fatifera? - Synanthedon viburni - Female
Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
June 16, 2014
observed briefly perched on snowball bush (viburnum). Thought it might be a peach tree borer, but based on BG photos, seems a better match for a viburnum borer. Confirmation/correction appreciated.

Moved from Sesioidea.

MOTH ID
Based upon what I can see, I would call this a female Synanthedon viburni.

thank you very much
