Moved tentatively
This is a rather peculiar tick. Looks like much of the mouthparts are missing, which makes a definitive ID difficult.
Still, the shape, number of festoons (11), shape of basis capituli (what's left of it), and form of the spiracular plates best points to D. variabilis. There is no white here; could be due to age of specimen (or just a weird color form).
