This looks to be a Sable Clubtail but I am still an amateur. If anyone can confirm this ID or provide an alternative I would appreciate it!

Sable Clubtail looks like a strong probability, but I have very little experience with the species, so for present I'll move it to Gomphus and hope some folks with more experience with this species can confirm it.

cropping
away all the wasted space like it says in the photo guidelines will make identification easier. You are allowed 560 pixels on the long side of a photo.

I will try to crop the image. The photo quality however isn't the best so I was afraid cropping it would make it too blurry and therefore harder to ID. I will upload another image and see how it looks.
