Meloe Sp? - Meloe americanus - female

Meloe Sp? - Meloe americanus - Female
Chestertown, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, USA
April 20, 2014
Found on a mowed grass lane in the middle of a 228 acre warm season grassland. I'm guessing it is a female based on the almost straight antennae without an exaggerated kink.
