Nice
In this and other photos, you can clearly see the most important distinguishing character- moderately expanded first protarsomeres in the females.

Nice to see female protarsomere "strongly" expanded
in this species but not a unique character among female members of the subgenus: "strongly" so in
A.(G.) harpaloides
; "moderately" so in
A.(G.) texanus
. The relative terms "strongly" and "moderately" are after the key to species by Noonan (1973).

Anisodactylus (Gynandrotarsus) opaculus (LeConte, 1863)
Anisodactylus (Gynandrotarsus) opaculus (LeConte, 1863) based on my microscopic examination of this female specimen which is deposited in the P.W.Messer collection as a photo-voucher. The very dull elytra (from strong microsculpture) helps distinguish this one within the subgenus. Thanks Iustin for this species contribution new to BugGuide.
