Sitophilus
I agree with Boris. I've done plenty of dissections to distinguish between the species of
Sitophilus
and the marks on the elytra are not a species character. All
Sitophilus
on bug guide should be listed to genus only unless dissection of male genitalia has been done.

Either rice weevil or corn weevil (Sitophilus zeamais). For discrimination, you´ll need to study genitalia.

Dissection is required since genitalia are internal
but you could move it to the genus page since the two possibilities are in the same genus.
I wonder if the two species are different SIZES (hint, hint).

Yes, rice weevil
Spots on elytra are more distinct in rice weevil, and the pronotal pits do look round.
