Bug attacking caterpillar? - Podisus

Bug attacking caterpillar? - Podisus
Morristown, Shelby County, Indiana, USA
June 21, 2014
Size: app. 3/8"-1/2"
Was originally taking a photograph of the caterpillar, but got this instead. Probably a cabbage white caterpillar (or similar species)that was found on a mature mustard plant near noon. Bug appears to be attacking the caterpillar, although it could be nothing more than a coincidence that I got the photo as the bug was "passing through". So what is the bug? Could it be attacking the caterpillar?
(Podisus, prey)
