Food
All known host plants are in the Lamiales (Orobanchaceae and Plantaginaceae, formerly Scrophulariaceae) and Ranunculaceae (buttercup family), except for Phytomyza lupini Sehgal (a stem borer on lupine, Fabaceae).
Life Cycle
Some larvae are leafminers; others bore in stems or feed in seedheads.
