This is very helpful. I posted several others from the same day. One is very similar to this one but with a different pattern. That looks like it might be a Bent-line Carpet - Hodges#7416. Could that be right?

It's unclear which characteristics are most important on moths, and that makes them hard to ID.

 
Which record number are you r
Which record number are you referring to? I looked at some or your recent submissions and I don't see anything that looks like a Bent-line Carpet.

Also, please don't submit more that 3 ID requests per day. We're always overwhelmed with ID requests but limiting everyone to 3 per day helps keep it in check.

 
Maybe I didn't submit it
I was in Georgetown one morning and there were a ton of similar but different moths on the wall. Thought I posted it, but guess I didn't. Will post it and see what you think (if you have time).
