Three-spotted Skipper - Cymaenes tripunctus

Three-spotted Skipper - Cymaenes tripunctus
Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida, USA
June 16, 2014
In my backyard. Nectaring mainly on Blue Porterweed. Several (four) were spotted. They came very early every morning (shortly after sunrise!), left about 11:00 am, and returned late afternoon.

Glassberg says: White before antenna club, long antennas, three subapical spots curve out, tawny edge on costal margin. Confirmed I.D. by L. Rhodes and Linda Cooper.
