Four images will be posted with this spotting, at least initially. I believe this is a perhaps Neocicada hieroglyphica based on the diminutive size and mid-June push. I'd certainly been hearing plenty of them in the weeks just prior. Can't be sure about this one, though -- and there's far more I don't know than I do. So, I'm hoping for some help by way of confirmation or correction! This little fella was bashing about my back patio light at about 10:15 pm on 16 June 2014. Thanks for your time!
