Skipper -- not quite right for little glassywing? - Vernia verna

Skipper -- not quite right for little glassywing? - Vernia verna
Huntley Meadows Park, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
June 22, 2014
The pattern on this dark skipper doesn't match any of the little glassywings that I've seen over the years. Also, no noticeable white at the base of the antennal clubs. But it doesn't match anything else that I can find. Is this just an unusual variation?
