East shore of Lake St. John, found on hand rail of fishing pier, Concordia Parish, Louisiana, USA
November 23, 2006
Size: Body length 2.4 mm.
Eye arrangement consistent with Araneidae.
Could not find image of anything similiar.

After
darkening the exposure on several images, the scutum was easier to see. Ceraticelus or similar genus.

Next time I'll just have to look harder!
Images have been moved to the subfamily Erigoninae which contains Ceraticelus.
