Katydid in Volusia county - Belocephalus - male

Katydid in Volusia county - Belocephalus - Male
Bulow Creek State Park, Volusia County, Florida, USA
July 3, 2014
One of three images for this organism. I found this katydid bunkered atop some shoreline foliage at Boardman Pond in Bulow Creek State Park. The pond is somewhat brackish and affected by the tide, though there are plenty of freshwater strands in the area as well. This is the only katydid I noticed, though the Squirrel treefrogs were very, very much out and about! Heh. Anyhow, note the black, somewhat hooked tip at the front of the face. Also, there was black on the belly, but I didn't get a good photograph of it (you can see hints of it). Any help would be appreciated!
