Gomphus spicatus ?

Gomphus spicatus ?
Ely, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA
July 2, 2014
Hundreds (more likely thousands) of dragonflies of several species were flying about in the upland forests on this day. The victim is a tiger beetle, Cicindela purpurea.
