Chrysomelidae? - Phyllecthris gentilis

Chrysomelidae? - Phyllecthris gentilis
Franklin County, Missouri, USA
June 12, 2014
This reminds me of several species of leaf beetle but I haven't had any luck finding a match. I was only able to get this one pic before it disappeared on me.

Moved
Moved from Phyllecthris.

Possible variant as in thumbnail below

Phyllecthris sp. --det. S.M. Clark
Moved from Beetles.

what a sharp-looking beast!
might be a fancy variant of something, but hope it's more than that

looks like an Alticini...
but I am as baffled as you are!

Thanks, I keep hoping to come across another
one to try for a better pic but haven't seen any more since this one.
